1. The Jaguars need to win two of their last four games.

The Jaguars have a winnable game against the Houston Texans in Week 15. They’re a 3-point favorite and rank better than their AFC South archrival in most meaningful categories. This should be a game Jacksonville should have no trouble winning but they shouldn’t stop there. Their last three opponents in their schedule are the New York Jets, the New England Patriots, and the Indianapolis Colts.

They already played Indy and lost. However, they made it a competitive matchup and nearly came back after trailing 17-0 early in the game. The Colts have won six of their last eight games and look like a good bet to qualify for the postseason. However, Jacksonville already pulled off an upset earlier this year when they beat the Buffalo Bills in Week 9. Wouldn’t it be great if lightning strikes twice and they beat Indianapolis in the season finale? It may be a tough task but it’s doable.

Beating a surging New England Patriots may prove to be more difficult but as long as the Jaguars aren’t embarrassed the way they were against the San Francisco 49ers or the Tennessee Titans and keep things close, it will be a step in the right direction.

Then, there are the New York Jets. Although the Gang Green has one more victory than the Jags this season, they aren’t faring much better and are looking vulnerable, as they have lost seven of their last nine games.

All things considered, the Jaguars have a realistic chance to win two or even three of their remaining games.
