2. Jaydon Mickens will return a kickoff for a touchdown.

Losing Jamal Agnew for the year was a devastating hit to both the Jaguars’ special teams and offense. Nevertheless, the team is trying to fill the void with Jaydon Mickens. The Washington product came back to the team after spending the last two years with the Tampa Bay Buccanneers.

Mickens doesn’t offer the same kind of value Agnew had on offense and won’t see a similar amount of snaps. On the other hand, the Washington product will take on the role Agnew had on special teams and will return punts and kickoffs. He will surprise everyone in his homecoming and will return a kickoff for a touchdown.

3. The Jaguars will hold the Falcons to 50 yards rushing.

Running back Mike Davis leads the Falcons in carries but he’s averaging 3.2 yards per rush. Wide receiver Cordarelle Patterson has the second-most carries in the team but has been limited in practice this week and is a coin flip to play Sunday. Thus this looks like a favorable matchup for a Jaguars’ defense that is allowing just 3.9 yards per carry, the third-best mark in the league.

If Patterson does play, he may not be at full strength, and the Jaguars should be able to hold the Falcons to 50 rushing yards or fewer. Also, Jacksonville’s defense will bounce back and give up a manageable 14 points.
