The Jacksonville Jaguars need to build off of their most recent win.

You might have heard that winning cures everything and that’s mostly right. Do you remember that just a couple of week ago, a video of Urban Meyer getting frisky with a woman that wasn’t his wife went viral. Because the Jaguars were sitting on a losing streak, it became a big deal, and there were talks about the organization firing him or the head coach walking out.

If that wasn’t enough, there were chatters about Jaguars players losing respect for Meyer While the situation is still worth monitoring, there haven’t been more reports about the head coach losing the locker room. Why? Because Jacksonville won its first game of the season. It wasn’t perfect but they showed grit and ended up beating the Dolphins. A team that doesn’t rally behind its head coach might not have been able to pull it off.

The Jaguars can’t get content though, they must build off of the win and keep getting better. The defense needs to find ways to generate more turnovers. The coaching staff needs to find more ways to get wide receiver Laviska Shenault involved and the secondary needs to make more stops.

On the bright side, the Jaguars will have their BYE in Week 7. They will have a chance to regroup and heal. Linebacker Myles Jack, and cornerback Tyson Campbell should be back in the lineup after missing the London game. Also, Meyer told the media second-year offensive guard Ben Bartch should be fine after exiting the game with a concussion.
