These two Jacksonville Jaguars need to show out against the Saints.

4. Can wide receiver Tavon Austin score in back-to-back games?

Nobody would have blamed you if you thought that wide receiver Tavon Austin wasn’t going to be much of a factor after signing with the Jaguars less than three weeks ago. After all, the West Virginia product hasn’t done much of note since the Los Angeles Rams made him the eighth overall selection in 2013’s draft.

However, Austin has made much of his most recent opportunity and has made a positive impression in Jacksonville. Against the Browns, he hauled in four receptions for 52 yards and one trip to the end zone. The veteran wide receiver is now competing for a roster spot and having an outstanding game in Week 2 would help him strengthen his case.

5. How many touches will rookie running back Travis Etienne get against the Saints?

Although all eyes will most like be on Trevor Lawrence, it will be interesting to see how the Jaguars will use rookie Travis Etienne. They selected him 25th overall in this year’s draft because they think he can be a dual threat in the NFL but the Clemson product carried the ball one time and was targeted once against the Browns. That could have been by design but and the coaching staff may want not to expose him to injuries but still, it was a less-than-stellar preseason debut for rookie running back.

Will the Jags once again limit Etienne’s workload? It would be great to have an early look at how they plan to use him in the regular season.
