1. Jacksonville Jaguars offer WR Collin Johnson and a 4th-round pick.

Chandler Jones has logged a league-high 97 sacks since being drafted in 2012. Even though he’s 31, Pro Football Focus believes he is still a top 20 pass rusher. Jaguars defensive coordinator Joe Cullen thinks that the current defensive group should have no trouble doubling the sack totals from last year.

Jones would make it easier for Cullen to reach the goal and even surpass it. If the Jags don’t want to part ways with a second-round selection, they could offer wide receiver Collin Johnson and a fourth-round pick. You might have read about a potential trade that could send the Texas product to the New Orleans Saints but if Jacksonville wants an upper-echelon pass rusher, they could opt to trade Johnson to the Cardinals instead.

The Jaguars have a surplus of wide receivers and Johnson may not have as much playing time as he would like with Marvin Jones Jr., DJ Chark Jr., and Laviska Shenault Jr. at the top of the depth chart. The 2020 fifth-round pick could find more playing time in Arizona and even compete for a starting job opposite All-Pro DeAndre Hopkins.

Even though A.J. Green was one of the NFL’s top wide receivers of the last decade, it’s uncertain how much gas he has left in the tank. On the other hand, Andy Isabella hasn’t done much since the Cards made him a second-round pick in 2019.

Johnson would give Arizona’s wide receiver corps an immediate boost while the Jags would get a premier EDGE rusher.
