4. Laviska Shenault – Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver

This may be the least surprising pick on the list. Laviska Shenault Jr. had a solid rookie campaign despite the fact that the Jaguars’ revolving door at quarterback last season. The Colorado product hauled in 58 receptions for 600 yards and five receiving touchdowns in 2020. Also, he posted a Pro Football Focus overall grade of 71.5 last season and avoided 16 tackles after a catch, the second most among first-year receivers.

All wide receivers on the Jaguars’ roster should see their numbers go up with quarterback Trevor Lawrence now taking snaps behind center. DJ Chark will be the top receiver on the depth chart and Marvin Jones Jr. will be a solid number two. However, Viska will also get his fair share of targets, barring injuries. In fact, that may be the only thing stopping the 2020 second-round pick from fully fulfilling his potential. He suffered all kinds of injuries in college and things didn’t get much better last year. He underwent core-muscle surgery after the NFL Scouting Combine that and later missed two games with a thumb injury.

Jaguars offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell has a history of prioritizing running the ball. However, the team is building the offense around Trevor Lawrence, so there’s a good chance they will throw the ball a lot. If that’s the case, Shenault may be the one that benefits the most. Of all the players on this list, he may best chance to have a breakout season and even earn a Pro Bowl designation in 2021
