This may be the Jacksonville Jaguars’ toughest rival in the AFC South.

As recently as 2019, the Tennessee Titans made it all the way to the AFC Championship, where they lost the Kansas City Chiefs, the eventual Super Bowl champion. Although they were one and done in the playoffs last year, they are still a dangerous team and will face the Jaguars twice in 2021, just like every other year.

Last season, Jacksonville made things interesting in Week 2 but ended losing 33-30 to the Titans. Running back James Robinson posted the first 100-yard rushing of his career and quarterback Garder Minshew went 30-45 for 339 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions. On the other hand, Ryan Tannehill completed 18 of 24 passes for 239 yards and four touchdowns.

Things got even worse for the Jags in their second matchup of the 2020 season, as they got steamrolled 30-10. If this Jacksonville team wants to earn more than one primetime game in 2022, they need to start winning games within their division, but taking down the Titans won’t be easy this upcoming season.

Despite the fact that Tennessee’s defense ranked 24th in points allowed and 28th in yards, their offense remains as efficient as it’s been the last few years.
