Las Vegas Raiders. Nicholas Morrow. 1. player. 28. . Linebacker

Nicholas Morrow can round out the Jacksonville Jaguars’ linebacker corps.

The Jaguars gave Joe Shobert a five-year $53 million contract in 2020 and Myles Jack got a four-year $57 million deal the season before. It’s clear the Jaguars value the linebacker position and although there’s a new regime in place, the team could bring in another one this offseason.

The Jaguars will have plenty of options in free agency. Haason Reddick of the Arizona Cardinals will be available and K.J. Wright may be one of the best linebackers to hit the open market. Also, Nicholas Morrow is set to become a free agent.

Originally an undrafted free agent in 2017, Morrow steadily worked his way up and has become a key cog on the Raiders defense. After having tackling issues in the past, the Greenville product logged 78 eight total tackles (eight for a loss), nine passes defensed, three sacks, one interception, and one forced fumble in 2020.

Although he earned a pedestrian 50.9 Pro Football Focus run defense grade, he had a 70.4 grade in both pass coverage and pass rush. Jacksonville needs a third linebacker to round out the group and Morrow could be the one.
