The Jaguars’ new front office will have plenty of cap scape to work with.

Not only do the Jacksonville Jaguars possess draft capital, they are also projected to lead the NFL in available cap space this offseason as well. The combination of draft picks and spending money are enticing perks for any future front office candidate. In addition, the arrival of Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence may also spark an interest in free agents wanting to join the Jaguars.

Free agency will offer a few big-name players such as outside linebacker Von Miller, cornerback Patrick Peterson, and left tackle Trent Williams. Although they aren’t in their prime anymore, they still have some gas left in the tank and may be worth pursuing.

Also, there will be other free agents that may not be household names but could have a big impact for the Jaguars if they decide to sign them. Cornerback William Jackson III, New Orleans Saints safety Marcus Willaims and Tennessee Titans tight end Jonnu Smith are some of the players the Jaguars could target in the offseason.

Despite recent struggles, the new era in Jacksonville already bears some of the potential necessary to cultivate substantial growth faster than other rebuild scenarios in the NFL.
