Keelan Cole, wide receiver. . player. 52. . .

Keelan Coole has become a core player for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Wide receiver Keelan Cole has been a playmaker during his tenure with the ‘Jags’ and keeping him presents a complicated decision to the team. He was incredible as a rookie. In that year, he hauled in 42 receptions for 748 yards and three touchdowns.

Cole kept playing at a high level through three weeks of the 2018 season and had 15 receptions for 210 yards and one touchdown, but then, he completely fell off and went through a rough stretch the remainder of the year and the 2019 season. However, he’s back and better than ever in 2020. Throughout the season, he has asserted himself as the clear number two receiver in Jacksonville and has caught 47 passes for 571 yards and a career-high five touchdowns.

The Jaguars receiving corps is solid and one of the team’s strengths heading into the offseason. There is a good group of young players and Cole is apart of that. He has built great chemistry with the team’s quarterbacks and is a fan favorite. Will that continue if Jacksonville drafts a young quarterback in 2021? Only time will tell. But it is definitely worth finding out.

Verdict: Bring him back
