The Jacskonville Jaguars must consider Kubiak’s Super Bowl experience.

Gary Kubiak has won three Super Bowl rings. Two as the Denver Broncos offensive coordinator in the late 1990s and one as as their head coach in 2015. In between rings, he was the Houston Texans head coach from 2006 to 2013 and the Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator in 2014. The Jaguars could surely use that kind of experience in their coaching staff.

During Kubiak’s stint as the Texans, Matt Schaub flourished, established himself as a solid quarterback in the NFL and earned two Pro Bowl nods. Wide receiver Andre Johnson and running back Arian Foster also benefited from Kubiak’s tutelage and made multiple Pro Bowls. With the Ravens, quarterback Joe Flacoo had one of his few solid seasons post-Super Bowl and was 344-of-554 for 3,986 yards, 27 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

Kubiak is currently the Minnesota Vikings assistant head coach and offensive coordinator. The ‘Vikes’ have currently have the seventh-best offense in the league and players such as running back Delvin Cook, and rookie wide receiver Justin Jefferson are enjoying successful seasons. His familiarity with all the positions and his ability to get the most out of his players should get the Jaguars attention.
