These three players shined for the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 13.

Collin Johnson had a solid game for the second consecutive week. After catching four passes for 96 yards and a touchdown against the Cleveland Browns in Week 12, the rookie wide receiver hauled in four receptions for 66 yards and a two-point reception.

Also, Mike Glennon threw a 34-yard pass to Johnson early in the game that put the Jaguars in a position to convert a 22-yard field goal four plays later.

Although the ‘Jags’ didn’t make the running game their focus on offense against the ‘Vikes’, rookie James Robinson was his usual self and racked up 78 yards on 18 carries and scored his seventh rushing touchdown of the season. Moreover, he hauled in six passes for 30 yards.

The Illinois State standout keeps making a push for the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, and if he does not earn it, it won’t be for a lack of effort.

Heading into Week 13, the Jaguars’ defense was dead last in sacks with 11. Against Minnesota, they registered four quarterback takedowns, with defensive end Dawuane Smoot leading the way with two. Lineback Joe Schobert and defensive tackle Daniel Ekuale had the other two.

Smoot had a career-high six sacks last season, but he could surpass that figure by the end of the year, which would help him in the offseason, as he’s set to become a free agent in 2021.
