This Jacksonville Jaguars defender is running out of chances.

It seems like the writing is on the wall for Taven Bryan. After starting the first seven games of the season, he was relegated to the bench in Week 8 and Doug Costin got the starting job opposite defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton. Costin sustained a concussion and Bryan started in his place in Week 10.

Hamilton is out with a knee injury, so Bryan will have likely start next to Costin against the Vikings. This year, the 2018 first-round pick has played on 56.52 percent of the team’s total snaps on defense and registered 15 total tackles and half a sack.

Sidney Jones will be out against the Vikings. This will be the third straight game the former Philadelphia Eagles cornerback will miss with an Achilles injury, which means that rookie Luq Barcoo could make his second career start.

The Sand Diego State standout got the starting nod against the Browns, played on 97 percent of the team’s total snaps on defense, and allowed four passes on six targets, and one touchdown. All in all, Barcoo was solid in Week 12 and will have a big role once again versus the Vikings.
