Jacksonville Jaguars: Studs and duds in 25-17 loss vs Browns
These Jacksonville Jaguars shined against the Browns.
Wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. was back after missing the last two games with a hamstring injury. However, it was another rookie wideout the one that had the most impact for the Jaguars in Week 12. Collin Johnson caught four passes on eight targets for 96 yards and one touchdown.
Even though this Jacksonville team was without D.J. Chark and Chris Conley, their passing game didn’t miss a beat.
Although Joe Schobert gave up a touchdown in coverage, he made up for it by forcing Browns tight end Harrison Bryant to fumble a ball that Andrew Wingard ended up recovering.
It wasn’t always pretty but Schobert was solid and ended the game with eight total tackles, one assist, and the team’s only turnover of the game.
Running back James Robinson keeps making a strong case to earn a Pro Bowl tip and the Offensive Rookie of the Year award in 2020. The rookie racked up 22 carries for 128 yards and one touchdown and hauled in five passes for 31 yards.
While most position groups on the Jaguars roster are in need of upgrades, the team’s brass should feel relief running back isn’t one of them and they have a keeper in the Illinois standout.
