These two would be the best LB options for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Earlier this season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers slapped Shaquil Barrett with the franchise tag and will pay him a total of $15.828 million for his services in the offseason. Although the All-Pro linebacker doesn’t mind playing on a one-year deal, he already made it clear he wants the security a long-term contract offers.

Barrett will likely command premium compensation if he becomes a free agent and the Jaguars will have the financial resources to secure his services if they desire so. In the last 26 games with the Bucs, the Colorado State standout has registered 98 total tackles, 24.5 sacks, seven forced fumbles, five pass deflections, one interception, and one safety.

The Pittsburgh Steelers currently have the best defense in the NFL. They are fifth in yards allowed and first in points given up. Moreover, they lead the league in sacks with 38. Their defensive success has been possible thanks to their coaching staff and their robust collection of talent.

Linebacker T.J. Watt is arguably the best Steelers defender, but Bud Dupree is no slouch. The sixth-year linebacker has registered 26 total tackles, eight sacks, two passes defensed, two forced fumbles. Moreover, he’s been among the NFL’s top ten sack artists in back-to-back seasons. He will be one of the most coveted free agents in 2021.
