52. . . . CJ Henderson, cornerback. 4. player

Who is the real C.J. Henderson? The rookie cornerback played surprisingly well against the Green Bay Packers after struggling the previous two weeks. At Lambeau Field, the Florida standout showed he won’t let a bad game hinder his performance and finished the game with three total tackles, one pass defensed, and one forced fumble.

This upcoming week, we’ll mostly be talking about Henderson’s good game in Green Bay, but we shouldn’t forget about his past miscues. We aren’t trying to be pessimistic. Instead, we want to avoid getting caught in one game just to be let down in the future.

Henderson has been uneven in 2020 and we don’t know whether he will become more consistent or not. The team’s brass would surely want an answer, that’s why we should keep an eye on the first-year player.

. . . DaVon Hamilton, defensive tackle. 3. player. 52

Defensive tackle is one of the least sexy positions in the NFL, and we aren’t talking about how their physical appearance. Rather, we are talking about the lack of recognition they get compared to linebackers or cornerbacks. This season, defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton has been one of the few bright spots in the Jaguars offensive line and doesn’t get enough praise.

The fact this Jacksonville team isn’t very good doesn’t help Hamilton’s case either, but he should definitely get more attention moving forward. The defensive tackle has been arguably the most consistent defender from the Jaguars’ 2020 draft class. He should be a core player in the team’s front four for a long time.
