1. Jacksonville Jaguars RB James Robinson vs Texans run defense

One of the most pleasant surprises for the Jaguars this season has been undrafted free agent James Robinson. If you had told us before the season started that Jacksonville’s running game was going to falter after the team’s brass opted to part ways with Leonard Fournette, we wouldn’t have batted an eye and we would’ve nodded our heads in agreement.

However, Robinson showed early in the season that he has the playmaking prowess the Jacksonville Jaguars need from the running back position. The Illinois State standout racked up 16 carries for 62 yards in the season opener. Those aren’t earth-shattering numbers, but he then broke the 100-yard mark in Week 2. Against the Tennessee Titans, he had 16 carries again, but this time, he ran for 102 yards and a touchdown. Moreover, he hauled in three receptions for 18 yards.

It will be key for the Jaguars to get that kind of performance from Robinson in their season rematch against the Texans. Quarterback Jake Luton will be making his first NFL start and will need as much help as he can.

The ‘Jags’ may try to take a few deep shots and test the Oregon State’s arm, but if they want their odds of winning the game to go up, they will have to have a balanced offense. Robinson will make that possible.
