JACKSONVILLE, FL – DECEMBER 11: Yannick Ngakoue /

K’Lavon Chaisson vs. Yannick Ngakoue

I know K’Lavon Chaisson and Yannick Ngakoue are edge rushers and could make the team’s pass rush dynamic this coming season, but this is more about the present and the future than anything else.

Ngakoue has shown how great he can be with his strip-sack ability and how he terrorizes opposing quarterbacks. He has 37.5 sacks and 14 forced fumbles to prove it. But as well all know, the fifth-year player out of Maryland wants out of Jacksonville. He has been given the franchise tag with $17.8M, but he has not signed his tender.

He comes into this season playing on a one-year deal. If the team does not trade him, then Ngakoue is auditioning for a team in 2021.

Chaisson can play outside linebacker and edge rusher and could become part of a dynamic duo with Josh Allen. His speed off the edge and his ability to play in space are intriguing. Could the Jacksonville Jaguars have two 10-sack studs on their defensive line?

I think Ngakoue finally signs the tender and comes and plays his heart out this season. Chaisson will be a beast on this defensive line and replace his teammate next season.
