The Jacksonville Jaguars may surprise a few fans and opponents this coming season if they were to select any one of these under-the-radar-players.

The 2020 NFL Draft is here Jacksonville Jaguars fans.

It is the most wonderful time of the year. As I do countless mock drafts and run through scenario after scenario, I came across a few prospects that I absolutely fell in love with. These will be the names I hope fall to the Jacksonville Jaguars in this year’s draft.

These aren’t the flashy names like Jerry Jeudy, Mehki Becton, Tristan Wirfs, or Isaiah Simmons – which, for the record, I would be very happy with the Jaguars taking. These are prospects that aren’t necessarily sleepers but for the most part, have flown under the radar this draft season.

This year’s draft is going to be insanely unpredictable in my opinion, so there’s a chance some of these guys aren’t even available in the range I feel is of value for the Jaguars. And with so many different positions that need to help, who knows what can happen in seven rounds and 12 picks.

Let’s dive in!

Harrison Bryant, TE, FAU

Named “Best Route-Runner” in this year’s tight end class by PFF, the tight end out of Florida Atlantic is a prospect that can create space as a ‘Move’ tight end and has reliable hands. Harrison Bryant would be an excellent fit in a Jay Gruden offense that relies on position versatility.

Although he leaves a lot to be desired with his in-line blocking he would be able to provide immediate impact as a receiver as he develops as a blocker.

I would love for him to be selected with one of the Jacksonville Jaguars 4th-round picks although Lance Zierlein of NFL.Com has a third-round projection on him.

Derrek Tuszka, EDGE, NDSU

This high motor Edge rusher out of North Dakota State dominated the competition at the FCS level (28.5 sacks over 3 years with 13.5 sacks as a Senior) and hopefully is able to translate it to the pro level.

If I had to put the terms ‘Draft Steal’ on a prospect it would be Derrek Tuszka, he projects as a mid to late-round pick with the main drawback being his competition at the FCS level. The competition doesn’t worry me given the stats he was able to put up at the FCS level which showed continual improvement.

I would like to see the Jaguarss use one of their 5th-round picks on him if possible. As a rookie, he should be able to have an immediate on special teams as he develops as a rotational pass rusher on the outside. Tuszka is definitely someone to keep an eye on come Day 3 of the Draft.

Adrian Killins Jr, KR/PR, UCF

The local talent from Mainland High School (Daytona Beach, FL) and UCF is about as fast as they come with an unofficial 40 yard dash time of 4.27 (team testing, make of it as you will) and highlights that run off the screen.

Adrian Killins is an undersized RB at 5’8”, 164 lbs, however, I project him as a punt/kickoff return wizard with the ability to take it to the house no matter where he’s at on the field. He has spoken to Jaguars Representatives at the East-West Shrine Game in St. Petersburg, FL and it is pretty obvious he would’ve attended the Jaguars’ local pro day this year if things weren’t the way they were.

Having not been invited to the NFL Combine this year (major blow for both parties in my opinion) Killins was unable to showcase his speed and athleticism, with this being said I believe the Jaguars should select him with their 7th round pick, if he goes undrafted his should absolutely be brought in as a priority UDFA.

There you have it! Those are the three players I love in this year’s draft and I hope the Jaguars can come away with at least one of them.
