Jacksonville Jaguars: 4 Ways to win the 2020 NFL Draft
By David Levin
Add depth if possible
I read a story online a couple of days ago which asked the question of whether the Jaguars shouldn’t worry about drafting a defense of lineman for the third year in a row in the first round. The only way this team is going to get better is if the front office identifies the team’s greatest needs, and finds the best possible draft choices.
Jacksonville hit a homerun with Allen last year, but he felt to them in the right situation. There will be a few players on the board with the ninth pick who may be part of the team’s wish list.
And taking a page from Mel Kiper, Jr., I believe there is good quality with players who will be available between the 10th and 20th selection.
This is where Baalke comes in. His input on designing a draft that not only helps this team’s future. This will be the first draft Caldwell runs in the past two seasons. He did well bringing in Ramsey, Yannick Ngakoue, and Myles Jack. I think this is a great opportunity to prove this organization has moved past the Coughlin era and produce a draft class to help Jacksonville win now and in the future.
