Cam Robinson

There has already been plenty of talk about the problems with the offensive line being the most important issue to fix this offseason. I believe the offensive line was better in 2019 than last year, but I know it’s a minority viewpoint.

Cam Robinson had a shaky 2019 campaign after coming back from major knee surgery. He was not the same player who walked onto the field for the first game in 2018. Hopefully, another offseason of training and rehab will help him.

Robinson could be moved inside to guard, but his footwork is a question, and does he have the leg strength to help with the run blocking? Jaguars fans hope this is not a wasted draft pick, much like Luke Joeckel was in 2013.

While the Jaguars may move on from other players this offseason, I don’t see them giving up on Robinson just yet because of the knee injury, but he must show massive improvement from this past year.

Should he continue to be mediocre, then there may be a change to the left side of the line after 2020.
