A Full Year of Growth

Gardner Minshew did a fantastic job stepping in when no one really expected him to do well at all. Many thought once Foles went down the team was doomed. However, Minshew was one of the bright spots for the Jaguars this season. He broke franchise rookie passing records and did a very good job leading this team. It almost would seem unfair to hand the team over to someone else after all that he’s been through this season.

He also won all six games for the Jaguars in2019.

Gardner could very well be the answer to our QB problem that has cursed this franchise for as long as it has been around. He is a competitor and has done far more than any Jaguars QB has done in some time. He may have some imitations but build the offense around him.

Tom Brady has plenty of limitations and he is who many consider the greatest quarterback of all time. Open up the playbook for him, build your team around him, and give him the support that he needs early on in his career.

The worst thing that could happen is he struggles, hands the reigns over to Foles (or whoever the backup might be) and then draft a quarterback next season. This leads in to my next point regarding our current backup.
