Josh Allen – Defensive End

When the Jaguars were gifted Josh Allen in the draft there was a buzz around the league. The team that was nicknamed Sacksonville just drafted who many believed to be the best pash rusher in the draft.

It was almost a match made in heaven. Allen is about as good as Jaguars fans could have hoped. Leading a group of feared pass rushers that includes Calais Campbell and Yannick Ngakoue, Allen is quickly asserting himself as one of the best sack artists in the NFL.

What depth does for Jacksonville is that it creates one-on-one matchups across the entire front line. Last year Jacksonville struggled a bit rushing the passer after trading Dante Fowler because offenses had the ability to double team either Campbell or Ngakoue.

Now opponent have an issue containing all three of them, and it is a key towards defensive success for this team. The Jets will more than likely struggle with stopping the pass rush.

Prediction: This is a bold prediction but I could see the Jaguars come out with a total of seven sacks this week. Its a high number but I could see multiple players achieving multiple sacks. I think Josh Allen will be one of those players.
