The last player that is on my radar for the upcoming first round Jaguars Draft pick is the combine superstar, Vic Beasley. He led all linebackers in virtually every important category including the 40 yard dash, bench press, 3 cone drill, 20 yard shuttle, broad jump, and vertical jump. It is extremely rare to see a player absolutely dominate the combine like Vic Beasley did.

Here is what Big Cat Country writer Hank Jones had to say about Beasley

"Vic Beasley and the LEO position go together about as well as spaghetti and meatballs. Or Shad Khan and great hair. As of right now, he is the player that makes the most sense for the Jaguars at 3. It is one of those rare occurrences where need meets value, production, scheme fit, and talent"

Beasley would definitely be a great fit at the LEO position for the Jags, he has the size and speed that Jags would be looking for to fill that role as well as weight of 245 pounds which proves how much of a freak athlete he really is.

In his four seasons at Clemson, Beasley put up great numbers including 52.5 tackles for a loss, 33 sacks, 29 quarterback pressures, seven recovered fumbles and 2 recovered fumbles which both resulted in touchdowns. He is the all time sack leader and Clemson University and his draft stock has drastically increased after what he did at the combine.

I personally think Vic Beasley makes a lot of sense for the Jags, he is clearly one of the best athletes in this draft and he could make the Jaguars linebacking  core very scary as he would be alongside Telvin Smith and Paul Posluszny. If it were me, the choice would be between Vic Beasley or Dante Fowler but Jaguars fans have a little less than a month to finally find out what the sneaky Dave Caldwell has up his sleeve.
