Mike Brown, Wide Receiver

All reports coming out of training camp were glowing for Mike Brown. He was being hailed as the most consistent receiver, and some comments by receivers coach Jerry Sullivan made Brown seem like a lock for the final roster. With the top 2 guys out last Friday in Allen Robinson and Cecil Shorts III, Brown had a chance to shine and show his worth as possibly the 3rd or 4th receiver. Instead, Brown came out and dropped 2 very catchable balls on outstanding throws by Blake Bortles. Brown will be given another chance this week to make up for his mishaps, but he needs to translate his performances in practice to the preseason if he wants to ensure his spot in the rotation.
