Dee Ford, DE, Auburn:
Dee Ford has been unstoppable at times during practices. Standing at 6’2, 243 lbs., he has been projected as a fit best suited for OLB in a 3-4. Does anyone else think he could get a look at Gus Bradley’s LEO spot? The LEO position calls for speed, not power. With Ford’s frame, I’m not so sure that he wouldn’t be a great fit in this defense. Posting 10.5 sacks, 14.5 tackles for loss, 17 QB hurries and 2 forced fumbles last year, it’s apparent that Ford is a pass rush specialist. He’s been blowing by OTs this week such as Zach Martin from Notre Dame. He has been a force off the edge. Is he a possibility at 3? No. Could he slide to the 2nd round? That sure would be nice.
