Blaine Gabbert, Our Only Hope

(Before you read this understand it is tongue in cheek humor, or is it?)

We, the Jacksonville Jaguars, own the number one draft pick this year and those sneaky slimy snakes in Tampa are scheming to steal it from under us.  Let me offer you the proof of this accusation.

In 2008, the Detroit Lions went 0-16 which allowed them to take Matt Stafford. They knew they needed a QB and they knew they needed the number one selection to get him. Who did they depend on to deliver the number one pick? Dan Orlovsky.  Dan Orlovsky was the starting QB for the 0-16 Lions.

In 2011, Jim Irsay knew Peyton Manning was hanging on to the final years of his career. Andrew Luck was out there and Jim knew he had to replace Peyton with the next legendary QB. He needed the top pick in the draft to make that happen. Who did he ask to ensure that happen? Dan Orlovsky. Dan Orlovsky finished the 2011 season as the Colts starting QB and made sure that number one selection was guaranteed.

In 2013, Tampa Bay is acting very suspicious. Their ego maniac of a coach Greg Schiano, cuts his starting QB in the start of the season. The same guy he brags about in his team biography as having developed into a record breaking offensive machine.  They know they want Teddy Bridgewater and the only way to get him is with the top draft choice. Guess who the backup QB for Tamp Bay is? DAN ORLOVSKY! Can it be any more obvious than that!

My guess is that Mike Glennon will come down with some concussion like symptoms or pull a hamstring soon and Dan Orlovsky will be the starting QB.  Those slimy snakes.

There is only one way to fight this, we must keep starting Blaine Gabbert! We need Blaine now more than ever. The true gift of drafting Blaine Gabbert is to deliver the number one draft choice so we can get a real starting QB.  I am begging you, fight the Buccaneers, demand we start Blaine. As Princess Leia once said ‘Help us Blaine Gabbert, you’re our only hope”.
