A center crossing route gone bad.
Tight End Allen Reisner has been having a good preseason. In this case Henne is looking for something to develop between Reisner and Cecil Shorts. I am thinking the referee missed a flag on this play. Reisner is getting chucked well past the five yard mark.
It is never good when both your primary receivers go down.
I didn’t see any of the television commentators point this out. Chad Henne is looking at nobody to throw to. Both of his primary read receivers are on the ground. I guess sh*t happens.
The ball goes to MJD as the outlet receiver.
The result is a dump pass to MJD, but not thrown very well. Maurice dropped his one.
