Updated predictions for every game on the Jaguars' schedule ahead of training camp
The Jacksonville Jaguars are hoping to be one of the elite teams in the AFC in 2023. After what happened in 2022, it is certainly possible.
This is a team with a stud quarterback, a great offense, and an improving defense. They have an active general manager and a great championship-caliber head coach.
All of that leads people to believe that a great season is ahead. They won the AFC South in 2022 which means they have a first-place schedule.
This is the Jacksonville Jaguars' 2023 schedule and a prediction for each game on it:
The Jacksonville Jaguars are going to be a very good team in 2023.
Week One at Indianapolis - W (1-0)
The Jacksonville Jaguars should be able to beat the Indianapolis Colts in week one. If they can't beat teams like that, they aren't going to win many games.
They are possibly going to start a rookie quarterback and were one of the worst teams in the league. It is a great appetizer for a huge matchup in week two.
Week Two vs Kansas City - L (1-1)
The Kansas City Chiefs are the team that eliminated the Jacksonville Jaguars in the playoffs. It was a game that proved that they are still ahead of them and it is hard to see them overcome that early in the regular season.
Patrick Mahomes is very hard to beat and he is only going to get better as he gains more experience himself. Eventually, the Jaguars will be on Kansas City's level but it doesn't feel like that time yet.
Week Three vs Houston - W (2-1)
This is where the Jacksonville Jaguars get their season on a roll. After a tough loss to Kansas City, they are going to be able to beat the Houston Texans at home.
Houston was one of the two worst teams in the NFL last season and now has a quarterback question mark coming into the season. The Jaguars should be able to win this game easily.
