This Falcons player is the biggest threat to the Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars are in the middle of a slump. They are expected to be one of the best teams in the NFL but they haven't played like that yet. They need to get it going soon otherwise they are going to spend all spring wondering what went wrong.

Getting off the skid will need to start in London where the Jaguars have become famous for playing each year. This year, they are going to play there for two straight weeks. It will all start on Sunday when they take on the Atlanta Falcons.

Of course, Atlanta is off to a hot start this season as they are 2-1. Nobody really knew what to expect from them this year but they look like a team that could make some noise in the NFC South Division. So far, so good for them.

What is it that makes the Falcons so good? Well, they have gotten contributions from everyone which is always the key in the NFL for a winning team. There is one player, however, that stands out above the rest when it comes to these Atlanta Falcons.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have to contain Bijan Robinson if they want to win.

That player is rookie running back Bijan Robinson. He was the 8th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Texas. He was coming in as one of the best running back prospects in the history of the draft. So far, he has lived up to every bit of that hype and it has been incredible.

There was a lot of reservation about drafting a running back in the first round because of the state of the position in the league. So far, Atlanta looks like a bunch of geniuses for taking this guy as he has helped them compete with whoever they play.

So far in 2023, Robinson has 213 yards on 39 attempts. He also has 14 receptions (17 targets) for 102 yards. His one touchdown in his NFL career has been through the air as he is still waiting for his first rushing touchdown. His ability to be a duel threat makes him extra dangerous.

Now, he is going to try and make an impact overseas against the Jaguars. This is the player that Jacksonville needs to stop if they are going to win the football game. It should be incredibly entertaining watching them try. If he runs all over them, they likely won't win the game.

Robinson should be proud of his start in this league. Everybody is doubting the position as a need these days and he is proving everyone wrong. Jaguars fans know how good a running back can make a team look and this is no different. "Beware of Robinson" is what the defense should be saying.
