The 2022 season set expectations for the Jacksonville Jaguars. After starting 2-6, they really looked like the "same old Jags".

However, they bounced back from that bad start and won the AFC South. They then went down 27-0 in the first playoff game and things looked bleak again.

However, they came all the way back to win that playoff game. It was one of the most spectacular wins in the history of the franchise.

A week later, they were matched up against the Kansas City Chiefs. They had a very close game with them and earned everyone's respect. Of course, the Chiefs went on to win the Super Bowl.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are in a very exciting era for them right now.

Now, the off-season has come and the Jaguars did plenty of things to make themselves better. Calvin Ridley is coming to the offense, they made some great draft picks that are going to make an impact, and all of their draft picks are another year better.

We are at the point of the off-season where a few big free agents are still out there but it is unclear if the Jaguars will be involved with any of them.

Now that June is over, it is time to get excited in Jacksonville. Big things are ahead in 2023 and it starts in July when teams report to training camp.

July and August will give everyone a glimpse of what the Jaguars can truly be when the season starts in September.

Trevor Lawrence is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL now. June's end means we are that much closer to seeing him prove it.

This also is just an exciting time to be a football fan. The season is so close to starting. Once that aforementioned training camp begins for the 32 teams, you know it is right around the corner. It will also give football fans much more to talk about. We are almost there.
