The Jacksonville Jaguars believe that they are pretty set at quarterback for a long time. They were lucky enough to be selecting first overall in 2021 so they were able to get Trevor Lawrence.

It didn't work out well in year one as he was clearly a rookie with a bad head coach. In year two, however, after some changes were made, things exploded for him in year two.

Lawrence and the Jaguars started the 2022 season 2-6 and things weren't looking good. However, they were dominant down the stretch and ended up winning the AFC South Division title.

They ended up winning their first playoff game, the first in Lawrence's career, over the Los Angeles Chargers as well. They were down by 27 and came all the way back to win. It took the eventual Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs to take them down.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are very lucky to have Trevor Lawrence.

Now, coming into 2023, the people are starting to do their off-season rankings of just about everything. For better or worse, this time of year always seems to cause debate.

Well, a new ranking of quarterbacks has recently come out that has all of Jaguars Nation talking. Of course, it is because of the fact that Trevor Lawrence isn't properly ranked.

Kyle Brandt of NFL Network's Good Morning Football ranked every quarterback in tiers. It had some issues and some things that most people agree with.

Patrick Mahomes was in Tier One all by himself. There is no argument coming from anyone that watches football in depth on that one.

In Tier Two, Joe Burrow and Josh Allen share it. That is also something that people should not argue as that is absolutely correct. Those are far and away the three best quarterbacks in the league with Mahomes just a tick above.

In Tier Three, Aaron Rodgers joins the AFC and is listed there with Justin Herbert and Lamar Jackson. The tier is fine but it is missing Trevor Lawrence. This is the tier that he belongs in.

Tier Four has Russell Wilson and Deshaun Watson all alone. In Tier Five, shockingly, he has Jimmy Garoppolo all along as he is freshly in the AFC as well. Most people would say they think Lawrence is better than all of them at this stage of the game.

Tier Six is where you will find Lawrence along with Tua Tagovailoa, Mac Jones, and Kenny Pickett. Thinking he is on the same level as those guys is absolutely insane. Lawrence is considerably more accomplished than all of those guys in every way.

Those guys are ranked just ahead of Tier Seven which has the rookies that are freshly drafted here in 2023. It is a decent list outside of the ranking given to Trevor Lawrence. Honestly, it is really only truly disrespectful to him.

Lawrence responded to this list on Twitter dot com. He clearly thinks highly of himself based on this crazy ranking.

Lawrence makes a great point. Football isn't played on paper. He is an incredible player and it is good to see that he is confident enough to call out a bad ranking like this.

Jaguars fans should be very excited about what he can bring this season. It is going to be must-see TV when he is on.
