The Jacksonville Jaguars are not a team that wants to think about the past too much at all. However, it is fun to sometimes see where former players that were good for them end up and see how they are doing.

One player that was good for them was Allen Robinson. He spent the first four years of his NFL career with them as they selected him in the second round (61st overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft. He even had his one Pro Bowl appearance with them in his second season.

It is unfortunate that the Jaguars weren't able to build a good team around him over a long period of time. They ended up letting him walk before he ended up with the Chicago Bears.

When he ended up with the Chicago Bears, he had some similar problems as he had in Jacksonville. They, like the Jags, had one good year with him that ended in the playoffs but he never had a legit quarterback making the throws.

Following a disappointing ending in Chicago, he signed a deal with the Los Angeles Rams. With Matthew Stafford there, it felt like he finally was going to be receiving passes from an elite quarterback. However, Stafford had an injury that kept him out so it didn't work out well there either.

This former Jacksonville Jaguars star has a new NFL home now.

On Tuesday, this former Jaguars Pro Bowl WR found a new NFL home as he was traded away from the Rams. He was sent to the Pittsburgh Steelers. In addition to getting Robinson, the Steelers and Rams swapped seventh-round picks.

The Rams retained some salary while moving up 17 spots in the seventh round in order to move Robinson out of town. They are probably headed toward a rebuild after being all in on winning over the last few years. They did get their one Super Bowl.

The good news is that the Jaguars have so moved on from Robinson and don't need to worry too much about the past anymore. It is interesting to see what has become of his career though. Hopefully, he finds a bit of success in Pittsburgh.
