The Jacksonville Jaguars are a great team looking to take a big step in 2023. That might come if they have a big draft.

Of course, it will take more than that but after the way 2022 went, there is a reason to be optimistic about how good they can be.

Throughout the entire 2023 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars need to be smart. There are a bunch of schools that they should be looking at prospects from and one of the best is Ohio State University.

OSU has a bunch of players that are going to be selected into the NFL through the draft. A few of them would look really good with the Jaguars right now.

If there were some trades needed in order to get one (or more) of them, they might look something like this:

1. Jaguars trade into the early teens for a WR

The Jacksonville Jaguars may consider an elite receiver early.

The Jacksonville Jaguars could trade into the early teen selections of the 2023 NFL Draft if they want to take one of the best wide receivers in the class.

It is likely that Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the first receiver off the board and he comes from Ohio State where he was absolutely unbelievable. A player like that coming to Jacksonville would help their offense a ton.

They might not have a wide receiver as their top priority but it is hard to pass up on one that can make the difference that Smith-Njigba can. It will be interesting to see if anyone moves up in order to get him. He'd fit in very well on this highly potent Jaguars offense.
