The Jacksonville Jaguars came into this season with high expectations. After starting the 2022 season 2-6 and still winning the AFC South division title in comeback fashion, they won a playoff game which then expanded their expectations coming into 2023.

They earned a big week in week one against the Indianapolis Colts which was expected. They should be winning games like that no matter what. In week two, they had a very tough matchup with the defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs are also the team that eliminated the Jaguars in 2022 after they advanced to the second round of the playoffs. That is the model franchise in the NFL right now so seeing the Jaguars lose to that game wasn't all that surprising.

It was a close enough game to see that they just have a little bit more work to do in order to be like them. Coming into week 3, they had to like their chances against the Houston Texans who came in last place of the division and second to last place in the league.

The Jacksonville Jaguars lost to the Houston Texans on Sunday.

The Texans are better than they were last year which might not be saying much but they proved it on Sunday against the Jaguars. They ended up taking the game by a final score of 37-17. It was a very bad effort for the Jaguars in this one.

They should leave this game feeling bad about themselves and worried about the season. This is the type of loss that can send a team's season in the wrong direction. They clearly need a character win in week 4 badly now.

Everyone on the team, including the stars, needs to be better. However, some of the mistakes that the team made on special teams came back to hurt them as well as the defense just not playing well enough. A rookie coach and quarterback embarrassed them.

CJ Stroud is the rookie quarterback who played very well in this one. He went 20/30 for 280 yards and two touchdowns. There were also no interceptions for him in this one. Lawrence was okay as he went 27/40 with 279 yards. He threw one pick and one interception.

The Texans blocked a field goal and returned a kick in this game which goes back to the special teams having a tough game. These are things that need to be cleaned up if they want to start competing for a championship.

This was the sixth straight win for the Texans in Jacksonville which is a streak that needs to come to an end soon. This is not good considering the state of both teams.

With London coming up for Jacksonville, they need to have a good week of practice or they are going to lose there too. A lot of questions need to be answered before they get there. As of right now, as mentioned before, they are in trouble.
