Trade One - To Jacksonville: Dalvin Cooke - To Minnesota: Future Second Round Pick

The Jaguars might be able to land someone like Dalvin Cook for a 2nd.

If the Minnesota Vikings are trying to shed some salary and take a step back in 2023, they could sell low on him. Getting a second round pick for Cook might actually be on the higher end of a return for him.

Cook is a very good running back and has been one of the best in the NFL over the last handful of years. However, we know what their lifespan in the NFL has become over the last few years which is why a second round pick might be just enough for him.

If this is a slight overpayment, it is better than letting him go to another team in the AFC that might face the Jaguars in the postseason. The Buffalo Bills might need a running back as bad as anyone so that wouldn't be ideal.

Giving up a second might sound like a lot and it is. However, getting the most out of this window where Lawrence is on his entry level deal should be the highest priority.
