The Jacksonville Jaguars entered the 2023 NFL Draft with several needs but they haven't addressed most of them. Even though they hit a home run when they landed Oklahoma offensive tackle Anton Harrison with the 27th overall selection, their picks on Day 2 left a bit to be desired.

Penn State tight end Branton 'Stephen' Strange, the 61st overall pick could develop into a playmaker down the road. However, the selection of Tank Bigsby in Round 3 felt unnecessary when you take into account how stacked the Jaguars are at running back.

Bigsby could end up forming a dynamic backfield tandem with Travis Etienne but he'll have to prove he belongs in the pros and he'll need to beat D'Ernest Johnson -- a free-agency pickup -- and JaMycal Hasty, the team's No. 2 running back last year, in training camp. All things considered, Bigsby faces an uphill battle to justify the Jaguars' decision to draft him in the first round.

You can rightfully point out that every prospect is different and it takes time to fully assess the impact of a draft pick. However, it's hard to get excited about Trent Baalke's decision to focus on the running back position despite the fact that the Jaguars have bigger needs.

At the end of the day, Bigsy didn't choose to go to the Jaguars. They drafted him and the only thing he can do is show the top brass got it right. With that said, who'll benefit from his arrival? Who'll see himself affected? Here are three winners and losers from the Tank Bigsby pick.
