2024 NFL Draft start time, location and how to watch

The Jacksonville Jaguars hold the 17th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. While we're not sure what the Jaguars are going to do with that pick, draft season is always exciting. Will the Jags add to their offense or will they try to improve their defense?

We'll find out the answer to that question on Thursday night but in the meantime, what should fans know about the draft? Let's go over some info.

What time is the 2024 NFL Draft?

Round 1 begins on Thursday, April 25th at 8:00 PM EST.

Where is the 2024 NFL Draft being held?

Gone are the days of the draft being held in New York every year. About a decade ago, the league moved the draft to Chicago where it was held for two years and since then, it's bounced around. Over the last three years, the draft has been held in Cleveland, Las Vegas, and Kansas City.

This year's draft will be held in Detroit, Michigan and the 2025 draft has been awarded to Green Bay, Wisconsin.

How to watch the 2024 NFL Draft

Fortunately, it shouldn't be too difficult to watch the draft this year. ABC, ESPN, and NFL Network will all be airing Night 1 of the draft. If Jags fans have an NFL+ subscription, that's another way to tune into the event. The same networks will also air draft coverage on Day 2 and 3.
