The Jacksonville Jaguars have dealt with their fair share of tough matchups this season. However, they'll be catching a break when they face off against the New York Jets in Week 15. Heading into the game, they're a 13.5-point favorite. That's the best spread they had in 2025, and that goes on to show just how lopsided bettors believe the game will be. Understandably so.

The Jets are 3-10 and have already been wiped out of playoff contention. Their offense and defense rank near the cellar of the league in most meaningful categories. Moreover, third-stringer Brady Cook will get the start behind center, and it's easy to see why Jacksonville will outright dominate. But wait, there's more.

The game will be held at EverBank Stadium, and based on the latest weather update, the Jaguars will have no trouble imposing their will on both sides.

The Jaguars will enjoy perfect weather when they face the NY Jets

NFLWeather forecasts a temperature of 76 degrees Fahrenheit and just a 2.0 percent chance of precipitation for the Jaguars game against New York. Additionally, winds of 17 MPH are expected, which aren't strong enough to disrupt the game.

When you add it all up, Jacksonville will enjoy great weather conditions, and the offense should have no trouble moving the ball. Then again, it rained when the Jags played the Indianapolis Colts and had a functional passing game.

How can the Jaguars take advantage of the weather vs. the NY Jets

The Jets are 27th in points allowed and 17th in yards allowed. Head coach Liam Coen says that their pass rush can be a hassle, and he's right not overlook his opponents. Then again, the inability to stop other teams is one of the reasons New York has struggled to win games this season. This will present a great opportunity for the Jacksonville offense, even if Parker Washington — he's listed as questionable with a hip injury — misses his second game in a row.

Brian Thomas Jr. is coming off his best game of the season. Against the Colts, he logged three catches for 87 yards. Similarly, wide receiver Jakobi Meyers and tight end Brenton Strange are giving Trevor Lawrence a pair of reliable targets in the middle of the field. Simply put, the Jags have the firepower to light up the scoreboard. And then, there's the defense.

Pass rusher Travon Walker and defensive end Arik Armstead returned to the lineup last week after dealing with knee and hand injuries, respectively. They had no setbacks in practice and should be even more comfortable against the Jets.

Aside from Walker and Armstead, the Jaguars have the linebacker duo of Devin Lloyd and Foyesade Oluokun. Together with defensive end Josh Hines-Allen could make Brady Cook's NFL debut unforgettable, but not for the right reasons.

Heading into the game, the Jaguars aren't getting the spotlight nearly enough. Taking care of business against the NY Jets can most definitely help change that. With favorable weather, they have no excuse.
