The Jacksonville Jaguars are riding a five-game winning streak after beating the Indianapolis Colts. They'll have a chance to extend it to six when they face the New York Jets in Week 15.

With another win, the Jags will have a chance to solidify their chances of qualifying for the postseason. Similarly, they'll be able to keep their narrow lead over the Houston Texans in the race for the division crown. Of course, Jacksonville cannot afford to overlook the Jets. After all, they've split their past six games after starting 0-7.

On the other hand, the Jets rank near the cellar in the league in nearly all meaningful categories on both sides of the ball, so the Jaguars must take advantage of the favorable matchup. And with this in mind, here's a look at the odds and the spread for the Week 15 matchup at MetLife Stadium.

Odds and spread for the Jaguars game vs. the NY Jets in Week 15

Shockingly (or maybe not), the Jags are an 11.5-point favorite with a moneyline of -700, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. Place a wager of $700 on them and win $100 for a total payout of $800 if they beat New York. The Jets' moneyline sits at +500. Bet $100 and win $500 for a payout of $600 if they beat the Jags.

The over/under is set at 41.5 points. Both the over and the onder sit at -110.

Bold Brian Thomas Jr. prediction for the Jaguars game vs. the NY Jets

Several players came through for the Jaguars against Indianapolis in Week 14. Trevor Lawrence probably stands out the most because he had one of his best games in a while. However, he was far from the only stud. Brian Thomas Jr., in his second contest back from an ankle sprain, also shone.

Thomas gave the offense an element of verticality, hauling in three catches for 87 yards (29.0 yards per catch average). This was a promising sign when you take into account that the 2024 first-round pick struggled early in the season. But against the Colts, he reminded everyone just how much of a game-changer he can be.

One day after the win over Indy, Liam Coen praised Thomas, noting that he looked more confident after getting healthier.

"I think just getting healthier. As a wideout, and you've got an ankle, it' hard," Coen told the media Monday (8:57 mark). "It's hard to feel confident going out and cutting and running and stopping and making plays. And I think right now he just feels better. He feels healthier, he's been practicing hard. He's been practicing at full speed."

Coen continued, "Him and the quarterback, Trevor, have worked at it. They've worked, they've put time into it. And it showed up yesterday in a big way for us. That's an area of our offense that has been much needed, and to have it show up yesterday was such a good thing to see for us moving forward, for our confidence as a group. When you can attack every blade on the grass, you're just becoming more difficult to defend."

Based on his most recent outing, nobody will bat an eye if Thomas has his role expanded. His ability to stretch the field should allow him to win a few matchups even though the Jets' defense ranks eighth in passing yards allowed.

All things considered, sitting out three games might've been the best for Brian Thomas, who once again looks like the receiver that took the league by storm in 2024. Expect him to pick up where he left off and have yet another head-turning performance against New York.

Bold prediction: 6 receptions, 102 yards, 2 TDs
