The 2026 NFL Draft is now in the books, but the Jacksonville Jaguars didn't let that get in the way of addressing the larger scale roster. Sure, they came out of the draft with 10 players — linebacker Parker Hughes was their last pick at No. 240 — but that didn't stop them from making a flurry of moves as soon as the seventh round was over.
Just hours after the draft came to an end, the Jags signed a total of 17 undrafted free agents. These are players who didn't get their name called throughout the draft, and became available after its conclusion. And in case you're wondering who they are, below is the full list.
The Jaguars quietly make 17 roster additions right after the 2026 NFL Draft
Tennessee quarterback Joey Aguilar was the first undrafted free agent to sign with the Jaguars in the aftermath of the draft. Not long after, Jacksonville added 16 more players. Here's the full list, via Mia O'Brien of ESPN Radio.
- J'Mari Taylor, running back, Virginia
- Trebor Peña, wide receiver, Penn State
- Alex Bullock, wide receiver, South Dakota State
- Michael Wortham, wide receiver, Montana State
- Brady Boyd, wide receiver, Utah State
- Ethan Conner, tight end, Troy
- Benn Patterson, wide receiver, UTPB
- Garrett DiGiorgio, offensive guard, UCLA
- Jalen Hunt, defensive tackle, Cincinnati
- T.J. Bollers, defensive tackle, Cal
- Bryan Thomas J.r, DE, South Carolina
- Jimto Obidegwu, OG, North Texas
- Devon Marshall, cornerback, North Carolina State
- Devin Neal, safety, Virginia
- Preston Hodge, cornerback, Colorado
Then, Justin Melo of Sports Illustrated reported that Vanderbilt offensive lineman Jordan White signed with the Jags, adding that his deal has $75,000 in guarantees. The former Commodore puts the Jacksonville roster at 90. Of course, the team's brass could release any of the players they signed or anyone who's currently on the roster to pave the way for someone else.
For the time being, though, the Jags' 90-man roster is set. What stands out about the undrafted free agents general manager James Gladstone signed is that he brougth in a quarterback for the second year in a row. In 2025, it was Seth Henigan. Now, it's Joey Aguilar.
The Jags ended up cutting ties with Henigan and brought in former Las Vegas Raiders signal-caller Carter Bradley to serve as the third-stringer behind Travon Walker and Nick Mullens.
Perhaps Aguilar can push Bradley and even develop into the No. 2 behind Lawrence. Mullens is a free agent after 2026, so it makes sense for Jacksonville to start weighing its options.
The Jaguars have a good track record of unveiling hidden undrafted free agents
Dating back to the Dave Caldwell era, the Jaguars have done a good job of finding undrafted gems. With Caldwell at the helm, the Jags signed wide receiver Allen Hurns, cornerback Tre Herndon, safety Jarrod Wilson, and safety Andrew Wingard.
With James Gladstone calling the shots, pass rushers Danny Striggow and B.J. Green II made the initial 53-man roster after going undrafted. Both of them gained more playing time as the year went on and are poised to take on even bigger roles, even after the additions of Wesley Williams and Zach Durfee.
The truth is that it's hard to tell whether any of the undrafted free agents the Jags signed will make the team next season. Then again, their track record shows that there's a chance at least one will.
