The Jacksonville Jaguars entered the 2026 NFL Draft with 11 picks. But after a series of trades, they came out with 10 players. While some of the picks raised eyebrows, you can tell that they had a clear strategy in mind and never deviated from it. And all things considered, there's plenty to like.

The Jags tipped their plan to play smash-mouth football next season when they drafted offensive tackle Emmanuel Pregnon, and a pair of tight ends in Nate Boekircher and Tanner Koziol. All three should increase the ceiling at their respective positions. Similarly, Jacksonville got defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile several intriguing pieces to work with: Defensive tackle Albert Regis, safety Jalen Husky, pass rusher Wesley Williams, and linebacker Parker Hughes.

Having said that, the Jags aren't done addressing the larger-scale roster. Even though the draft is over, they keep making additions. This time, though, via undrafted free agents.

See, teams are rushing to sign players who didn't get their name called but could still provide value. Just last year, the Jags unveiled two undrafted free agents, Danny Striggow and B.J. Green II. Both of them ended up making the 53-man roster in 2025. And nobody would bat an eye if they found a pair of hidden gems this time around. With this in mind, here's an undrafted free agent tracker:

The first one is in. According to Justin Melo of Sports Illustrated, the Jaguars have signed Tennessee quarterback Joey Aguilar as an undrafted free agent. Now, the Jags have a signal-caller to compete with Bradley Carter for the No. 3 spot behind Trevor Lawrence and Nick Mullens.

Mullens is a free agent in 2027, so the Jags may want to kick the tires in Aguilar and see if they can potentially groom him to be his heir apparent.
