The Jacksonville Jaguars have one of the best backfields in the NFL. Although Travis Etienne and rookie Bhayshul Tuten get most of the spotlight because they carry most of the workload, 2025 seventh-round pick LeQuint Allen is quickly making a name for himself.

Aside from carving a niche as a blocker and on special teams, Allen is getting plenty of praise for his gutsy play, which was on full display in the 25-3 win over the Tennessee Titans.

LeQuint Allen made his presence felt in the Jaguars win vs. the Titans

LeQuint Allen forced a fumble on special teams, and throughout the game, he got into a heated exchange with Tennessee defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons that led to a penalty. Here's the clip with his remarks about the scuffle, if you want to give it a look, via Titans beat writer Paul Kuharsky.

And here's the fumble Allen forced in case you missed it.

Keep in mind that this isn't the first time the rookie running back has stood tall against a prominent player. In the win over the Las Vegas Raiders, he minced no words when he played All-Pro defensive end Maxx Crosby.

For the season, Allen has appeared in 22 percent of the team's offensive snaps and 31 percent on special teams. He's toted the rock 14 times for 70 yards and hauled in seven receptions for 41 yards.

Liam Coen says LeQuint Allen embodies Jaguars football

Rightly, head coach Liam Coen heaped praise on LeQuint Allen after the win over the Titans, pointing out that the rookie out of Syracuse shows how much he loves football and his teammates with his play on the field.

"Yeah, you're you hit the nail on the head. The play that he made was fantastic, "Coen told reporters Monday when asked about Allen's fumble (11:26 mark). "It was a great challenge from those guys up top, with Jon Dykema and Shane Waldron being on the screws there, because I didn't quite; I was in a good spot, but I didn't quite see the timing of when it came out. But the effort that he made, really that group has continued to do on special teams led by Heath and Luke, but LeQuint just yeah, you're right."

Coen continued, "He exemplifies so much of what being a Jaguar is and what it means. He actually just popped by our staff meeting just now, and was in there for a few minutes. So the guy loves football, he loves to compete. He loves his teammates. He'll do anything for these guys. And I think that shows in the way that he plays, his effort. Everybody sees it, and it helps continue to elevate the standard of what effort actually means in playing through the echo of the whistle actually means excellent."

LeQuint Allen probably won't pass Travis Etienne or Bhayshul Tuten on the depth chart, but based on Liam Coen's comments, you can see how valuable he's become for the Jaguars.
