You can't control who you play, and the Jacksonville Jaguars entered Week 13 with a game they were very much expected to win. They faced the lackluster and struggling Tennessee Titans, who now continue to sit in the league's cellar at 1-11 after the Jags dominated them this Sunday.
While it wasn't pretty, they did exactly what they needed to, walking away with a 25-3 win. With this in mind, here are three winners, one loser, and an honorable mention.
Jaguars winner No. 1: Quarterback Trevor Lawrence
The Titans took away the run—somehow—and the Jaguars responded. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence had probably his best game of the season. At least, it was his cleanest. He protected the ball well, scrambled when he needed to, and picked apart Tennessee's secondary, throwing for 229 yards and two touchdowns, with a 111.5 rating.
He looked like the starting quarterback the Jaguars need and that fans hope for. Let's hope it continues...
Jaguars winner No. 2: Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers
Recent addition wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has quickly become Lawrence's go-to target. Even with Brian Thomas Jr.'s return, Meyers was still the No. 1 option with six targets, catching every single one for 90 yards and a touchdown. His 50-yard reception was also the longest pass play of the year for Jacksonville.
If Thomas ever finds his stride (and if third-year veteran Parker Washington's injury isn't bad), then Jacksonville might finally have the passing attack they've been desperately needing.
The Jakobi Meyers trade has already aged wonderfully for Jacksonville. I am not sure how you do not extend him

Jaguars winner No. 3: Defensive end Josh Hines-Allen
Over a week ago, I pointed out how edge rusher Josh Hines-Allen tends to get his sacks in bunches, and now he's notched 5.5 sacks since Week 9. He's been close to dominant all year, getting consistent pressure on the quarterback. He's finally getting home, even without defensive end Travon Walker rushing on the other side. If Hines-Allen continues to play to this level, the Jacksonville defense will be primed for the playoffs (yeah, I said it).
. @JoshHinesAllen has 2.0 sacks in today's game. Hines-Allen's 5.5 sacks since Week 9 are tied-fifth most in the NFL. This marks the 14th multi-sack game of his career, the sixth most in the AFC since he entered the league in 2019.#ProBowlVote pic.twitter.com/8mbdWFQN77

Jaguars loser No. 1: Their discipline...
When you win 25-3, it's a full team effort. Perhaps there were some individual performances that warrant getting into this column, but the team played dominantly overall, so I've decided to look on the bright side. However...13 penalties for 96 yards?
Sure, maybe you can dominate the Titans with those numbers, but you can't win in the playoffs that way. Aside from a few games where they've looked locked in, it's been a trend all year. They need to fix it before they host the Indianapolis Colts next week.
Jaguars honorable mention: Punter Logan Cooke
I don't know what got into punter Logan Cooke today, but I'm on board with it. He's been one of the best players on the Jaguars for a hot minute, and today he just "woke up and chose violence," as Daniel Griffis of Action Sports Jax pointed out. He rushed to safety Andrew Wingard's defense after a personal foul and was one of the first ones in the scuffle.

Final thoughts
You don't win many NFL games with 13 penalties, unless it's against the Tennessee Titans. If there's one thing all Jaguars fans can agree on, it's that we hate the Titans, so there's no love lost after the Jaguars' dominating performance.
Time for Indianapolis. Let's get it.
