After trouncing the New England Patriots the week prior, the Jacksonville Jaguars will be looking to get their third win of the season when they play the Cincinnati Bengals.

Both teams are 2-1, with the Jags being a 2.5-point underdog. This could turn out to be a close game. Working in their favor is that they top-ranked unit heading into Week 4. On the other hand, the Pittsburgh Steelers exposed the Bengals' defense in Week 3, so this is a matchup Trevor Lawrence will be looking for.

Granted, it won't be a walk in the park, but Jacksonville should feel good about its chances of leaving Paycor Stadium with a win. With this in mind, here's the injury report and the list of inactives for the game.

Jaguars injury report vs. the Bengals in Week 4

Unlike past weeks when the Jags were mostly healthy, they may hold out a few players against the Bengals. Tight end Nate Boerkircher made a surprise appearance on the injury report Thursday after not showing up to practice with an illness. However, he was back Friday and is a full-go in Week 4.

On the other hand, cornerback Montaric Brown (hamstring), cornerback Christian Braswell (knee), and defensive tackle Albert Regis (elbow) earned the questionable designation after being limited in practice.

Head coach Liam Coen had previously stated that Regis should be back against Cincy after missing the win over the New England Patriots in Week 3. However, Jacksonville can afford to keep him out since he barely played the first two games, logging a combined 18 defensive snaps.

With Brown or Braswell potentially sitting out the game, the Jags announced that they've elevated sophomore cornerback Jabbar Muhammad from the practice squad to the active roster via standard elevation. Edge rusher Jalen McLeod also got promoted.

Muhammad flashed potential in the offseason, but his bid to make the 53-man roster ultimately came up short. On the other hand, this is McLeod's third call-up from the practice squad (the maximum a player is allowed in a season), so his only path to see the field the remainder of the season is to be signed to the active roster.

On the Bengals' sideline, safety Kyle Dugger and wide receiver Colby Young have already been ruled out. Offensive guard Dalton Risner (knee), defensive tackle B.J. Hill (Achilles), safety Bryan Cook (ankle), and linebacker Swayse Bozeman (groin) are questionable.

It's worth noting that Cincinnati also moved cornerback Dax Hill from the perimeter to the slot in light of injuries in the secondary. The team's primary nickel, Jalen Davis, is on the Injury Reserve list, and his primary backup, Ja'Sir Taylor, is unavailable. This will potentially give favorable matchups to tight end Brenton Strange and wide receiver Jakobi Meyers when they run in-breaking routes.
