When Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan brought in new general manager James Gladstone, the era of the "Intangibly Rich" began. The buzz words echoed in the halls of the Miller Electric Center (the Jaguars' indoor and outdoor practice facility) throughout the offseason and into the regular season.
Gladstone wasted no time bringing in players who personified his mantra through free agency and the draft. Rookie Bhayshul Tuten is no exception. Though he ran a running back-best 4.32 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine, they drafted him for more than his pure athleticism. Tuten displays a desire to play physically and isn't afraid of contact.

Jaguars rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten demonstrates his "intangibly rich" attributes
Rookie Bhayshul Tuten may be starting out small with only 11 rushes for 53 yards, but he's also shown up in the passing game. Last week against Cincinnati—his first game after the Jaguars traded running back Tank Bigsby to the Eagles—he caught two balls for 32 yards and a touchdown. And in the Friday meeting with the press, head coach Liam Coen praised Tuten's work ethic and ability to adapt.
"I think he's, you know, taken a huge step from the spring," Coen said (1:45 mark). "And you look at [him] in the game plan, continuing to try to be on the screws with all the little details, that's so much for a rookie, especially rookie running backs. Like with Bucky [Irving in Tampa Bay] last year...there's so many things that he has to know that then, like [his] footwork starts to get a little jacked up on tracks. "
He continued, "Then you start to decide, well, what is too much information? And what is the information he needs to know? What are the things that we may need to kind of live with for a short term, till he gets going? So I think the more and more [Tuten] gets reps, the more comfortable he gets within the system. And you know, all three of those backs really practice their tails off this week."

Final thoughts
Despite practicing limited this week, I expect to see more of the same from rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten against the struggling Houston Texans in Week 3. His athleticism, speed, and physicality are bolstered by those "intangibly rich" talents that Gladstone preaches about.
And next year? Don't be surprised if Etienne-less backfield features a solid one-two punch of Bhayshul Tuten and LeQuint Allen Jr.
