The Jacksonville Jaguars traveled to the West Coast to face the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4. They're a three-point underdog for the game, but have several things going in their favor to potentially pull off the upset. One of them is that the Jags made the trip with a nearly full hands-on deck.

Conversely, the 49ers are dealing with key injuries. Quarterback Brock Purdy is good to go, but wide receiver Jauan Jennings was questionable for the game. Tight end George Kittle and pass rusher Nick Bosa landed on injury reserve, while wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk is still recovering from an ACL injury he sustained in 2024.

The Jaguars will be without Wyatt Milum and Yasir Abdullah vs. the 49ers

Already, Jacksonville ruled out rookie offensive lineman Wyatt Milum and downgraded linebacker Yasir Abdullah the day before the bout. On the other hand, Dyami Brown's availability remained up in the air.

The fifth-year wide receiver suffered a shoulder injury in Week 3 and missed Wednesday's practice. He was a limited participant Thursday and Friday and ultimately got the questionable designation for the 49ers game.

Unlike Abdullah, Brown flew with the team to the Bay Area, so he still had a chance to play. Whether he plays or not could come down to how he looks in warmups. If the former North Carolina Tar Heel doesn't suit up, fellow receivers Parker Washington and Tim Patrick will see their roles expand like they did in Week 3 when he left the game.

Circling back to Milum, he's yet to make his NFL debut, but the Jaguars are surely confident he'll return from the knee he sustained in training camp at some point. Otherwise, they would've placed him on Injured Reserve.

It's also worth noting that ahead of the game, the Jags promoted wide receiver Austin Trammell and tight end Quintin Morris from the practice squad via standard elevation. Trammell could provide depth in case Brown isn't good to go.

Keep in mind that this is the third time this season that Jacksonville has promoted Morris to the active roster. Teams can elevate a player from the practice squad as many as three times, so the Jags will need to sign Morris to the active roster if they want him to suit up for a game moving forward.
