After losing to the Denver Broncos in Week 2, the Jacksonville Jaguars will be looking to get back into the winning column when they welcome the New England Patriots. Based on remarks head coach Liam Coen made ahead of the game, the Jags aren't taking their opponent lightly, and understandably so.
The Patriots reached the Super Bowl last year, and most of their core from 2025 is back. Sure, wide receiver A.J. Brown won't suit up for the game since he's on the Injured Reserve after suffering a high ankle sprain early in the season. Having said that, Jacksonville needs to keep tabs on DeMario Douglas throughout the game. Similarly, Mack Collins and Romeo Doubs could be hard to contain if they're not accounted for.
On the other hand, the loss to the Broncos should be a wake-up call for a Jags team that didn't play up to its talent level in Week 2. If the offensive line can protect Trevor Lawrence and open lanes for running back Bhayshul Tuten, the Jaguars should have no trouble overcoming New England's top-ranked team.

Jaguars injury report vs. the Patriots for Week 3
Several players popped up on the injury report ahead of Week 3, but only rookie defensive tackle Albert Regis earned the doubtful designation with an elbow injury. He probably won't suit up, but the Jacksonville defensive front may not miss a beat since the former Texas A&M Aggie has just logged a combined 18 defensive snaps this season.

On a related note, the Jags elevated sophomore pass rusher Jalen McLeod to the active roster via standard elevation. Unlike the past two weeks, Nick Mullens wasn't promoted, so Quinn Ewers will serve as the primary backup behind Trevor Lawrence.
