The Jacksonville Jaguars have been in the spotlight during their five-game winning streak. However, they'll need to beat the Denver Broncos in Week 16 if they want to truly show that they are a legit contender.

The Broncos currently hold the No. 1 seed in the AFC and have already clinched a playoff berth. Without a doubt, they're the Jags' toughest opponents in the second half of the season. The good news is that the three-point underdog Jacksonville has the talent on both sides of the ball to pull off the upset.

Trevor Lawrence is surging at the right time and playing like a top-10 quarterback once again. He's coming off a historic performance and will need to come through against one of the top defenses in the NFL if Jacksonville wants to leave Empower Field with a win. Fortunately, No. 16 has the firepower to go toe-to-toe with the Broncos.

Jakobi Meyers, who just signed a three-year extension, gives Lawrence a reliable target in the middle of the field, while Brian Thomas Jr. gives the offense an element of verticality in the boundaries. Of course, the Jags will also turn to running back Travis Etienne to wear the Denver defense down.

On defense, the Jags will lean on the pass rush tandem of Travon Walker and Josh Hines-Allen to bring the heat. If the duo can rattle Bo Nix, Jacksonville's ballhawking secondary should be in a position to make plays.
