5 Jaguars who are watching their stock skyrocket after win vs. Patriots

After a humbling loss to the Denver Broncos the game prior, the Jacksonville Jaguars bounced back in Week 3, soundly beating the New England Patriots 35-6. What stands out about the win is that the Jags' emphasis on technique and fundamentals was on full display. Similarly, all three phases showed up.

Head coach Liam Coen deserves praise for preaching accountability and having his players ready to repel the Super Bowl runner-up from last year, but the players themselves (most of them, at least) should also get their flowers for executing when called upon. Five, in particular, stand out.

But before we talk about those five players, keep in mind that Trevor Lawrence and Parker Washington won't be popping up on this list. Sure, they had strong outings against New England, but both of them routinely get the spotlight. It's only fair that other players who deserve recognition get it. With this in mind, here are five Jaguars whose stock is soaring after the win over the Pats.

Josh Cameron, wide receiver

Not only did Josh Cameron earn a roster spot in the offseason after a strong offseason but carved out a role on offense as well. He's made the most of it, scoring two touchdowns three games into his NFL career. The former Baylor Bear had the second one against New England in Week 3. He also had a long return.

Expect more doses of Cameron moving foward (and less Brian Thomas Jr.).

DaVon Hamilton, defensive tackle

Nose tackles don't get much love because they don't pad the statline like edge rushers. That said, DaVon Hamilton was so dominant against New England that he was impossible to ignore.

Ham often took on double teams, and even though the Patriots tripled him at one point, it wasn't enough to stop him from wreaking havoc. The veteran defensive tackle left the game at some point, but it doesn't look like he suffered a serious injury, so the Jags should have him for Week 4.

Nate Boerkircher, tight end

Nate Boerkircher deserves more targets; he's simply too good a pass catcher not to get more chances. With that said, he's already thriving in spite of the lack of catches (he has one for nine yards in three games).

The Jags drafted Boerkircher with the intention of improving the run game, and that's precisely what he has done, becoming an integral pass-blocking piece of the offense. Maybe the Jags knew what they were doing.

Travis Hunter, cornerback

It took Travis Hunter a bit, but he made the kind of game-changing play against New England that the Jags envisioned when they drafted him second overall in 2026. The Patriots marched down the Jacksonville end zone and were close to scoring. However, the former Heisman Trophy winner was having none of it and picked up Drake Maye.

After a slow (but planned) start, Hunter will continue to see an uptick in playing time, so expect more big plays from him in the near future. By the way, he got his interception ball back after a scuffle between Josh Hines-Allen and a ball boy.

Anton Harrison, left tackle

Like their fellow bigs on defense, hog mollys don't get much attention unless they make a mistake or outright dominate. Fortunately for the latter, it was the latter reason why he stood out in Week 3. The former Oklahoma Sooner set the tone in the trenches. Moreover, he went viral for demolishing cornerback Christian Gonzales.

Harrison proved in Week 3 that the switch to left tackle wasn't a big deal, giving up just one pressure and posting a Pro Football Focus overall grade of 89.3.
